Web browser information

Google Chrome is the preferred browser for this system, however it can be also used on other browsers (the latest stable releases), such as:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Opera
  • Safari

The use of browsers in beta, demo or preview release versions is not recommended.

Preparing your browser to work with the system

Enable cookies and ActiveX controls (necessary)

Set the default level of Internet security in the browser options.

Example for Internet Explorer

Internet Options > Security > Internet

In the Security level for this zone section choose the Default level.

In the case other than the Default level of security is used for the Internet zone, it is required to set the following additional parameters:

  • Press the Custom level button and enable the following options:
    1. Cookies > Allow per-session cookies (not stored) > Enable
    2. ActiveX controls and plug-ins > Download signed ActiveX controls > Prompt or ActiveX controls and plug-ins > Download signed ActiveX controls > Enable
    3. ActiveX controls and plug-ins > Initialize and script ActiveX controls marked as safe > Enable
    4. ActiveX controls and plug-ins > Initialize and script ActiveX controls marked as safe > Enable

Enable support for the HTTP 1.1 protocol (necessary)

Internet Options > Advanced

Enable (check) the following options:

HTTP 1.1 Settings > Use HTTP 1.1 HTTP 1.1 Settings > Use HTTP 1.1 through proxy connections

Enable storing of temporary internet files (recommended)

Example for Internet Explorer

In the Browsing history section click on the Settings button. It will open a new window containing the Check for newer versions of stored pages section, which should be set to Automatically.

Enable saving of encrypted pages to the browser cache (recommended)

Example for Internet Explorer

Internet Options > Advanced

Disable (uncheck) the following option:

:Security > Do not save encrypted pages to disk or Security > Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed

Clear the browser cache (recommended)

In the Browsing history section, click on the Delete... button. In the next window click on the Delete Files... button and confirm.
